Mike O’Malley leads the Pennybacker Capital Formation team’s efforts to develop and foster relationships with the firm’s existing and prospective limited partners. Mike was previously Chief Operational Officer and Chief Financial Officer of VisionWeb. Under his leadership, the firm closed six private equity placements and grew from fledgling status to a global services provider. Early in his career, Mike was an auditor and later a consultant for Price Waterhouse and Ernst & Young Capital Advisors, now Macquarie Capital USA. He successfully delivered structured finance solutions to Fortune 500 clients, including multi-national bank groups and companies in the technology, manufacturing, and financial services industries.

Mike graduated cum laude with degrees in Accountancy and Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame, received an MBA with highest honors from McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mike serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association, the Private Equity Chief Financial Officer Association, and the Real Estate Council of Austin. Additionally, he is an inaugural Advisory Board member of the Fitzgerald Institute for Real Estate at the University of Notre Dame and serves on committee and boards for several not-for-profit and philanthropic organizations.

David Arnow is a founding principal of Castle Hill Partners. Mr. Arnow is responsible for all investment management, disposition and treasury functions. He was previously a principal with Simmons Vedder Partners where he held a senior post for sixteen years. At Simmons Vedder, his functions included complete project oversight, management and financing. Mr. Arnow acted as a managing principal where he executed commercial projects which included office, industrial, senior and student housing as well as land development. Prior to his principal role at Simmons Vedder Partners, Mr. Arnow was with Trammell Crow Company. In 1992, he was promoted to be the youngest Managing Director in the history of the firm. He has over thirty-five years experience in the commercial real estate industry. Mr. Arnow was educated at the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned an MBA as a Sord Scholar. He received his BA in Economics, Magna Cum Laude at Duke University. He also attended the University of Copenhagen where he was a student in The International Business Studies Program.

Edward is the Managing Partner of CFM Wealth Partners. Prior to co-founding the firm, he spent 16 years as an Investment Advisor, first with RBC and later Stephens, Inc. He and his wife, Acia, have two sons and reside in Central Austin. They are members of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. Sandy Leeds is a Professor of Instruction in the Finance Department at The University of Texas. He has been on the faculty for 21 years and served as President of The MBA Investment Fund, L.L.C. for 13 of those years. He teaches both graduate and undergraduate level courses and primarily teaches about the markets and the economy. Prior to joining the faculty, he was a felony prosecutor and then a money manager. He has a J.D. from The University of Virginia School of Law, an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Investment Management from The University of Alabama. He is a member of the Texas State Bar and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He puts out a free weekly newsletter that can be found at sandyleeds.com.

Han’s career in venture capital started in 2009 and has spanned at VantagePoint and Formation 8, where he was the first hire on the investment team. He led and/or contributed to the investment in Motive Drilling (acquired by Helmerich & Payne), Lucid (acquired by Acuity), Comfy (acquired by Siemens), Oculus (acquired by Facebook), Taxon (acquired by DuPont), and AlertMe (acquired by British Gas).
Han has served on the board of multiple portfolio companies including BorderX Lab, Sweet a Little, Motive Drilling, and Grabit, and has closely advised entrepreneurs in building a startup from the ground up.
Earlier in his career, Han worked for Rohm and Haas Company, the largest US specialty chemical company, where he was credited as key inventor of four US patents.

Han earned his bachelor’s degree from Nanjing University, Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, and MBA from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.
